Tell us a few things about BAD OMEN (Members, Starting Year etc).
We started our dark activities right in the middle of the plague in 2021. We are with three in total, our unholy trinity to create some blasphemous noise in the name of Satan and alcohol worship!
You have recently released your demo ''Returns...''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
The demo has been well received so far by friends and acquaintances. The feedback outside of our close circle was positive as well as far as we know. Knowing this gives us the energy and power to create noise that will be more LOUD, UGLY AND HELL!
Label or DIY and why?
We don't care! The music is what matters!
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
We will always prefer physical formats over digital files...
Your music style is Heavy Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
Venom, Judas Priest, Mercyful Fate, Bulldozer, Metal Church and many others. We are mostly influenced by true and evil old school metal bands! No clean sound!
Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
We have sacrificed many virgins and alcohol at the altar of the dark lord. We don't know if this helped for our future but it will further help to spread darkness and fear in the hearts of the false!
Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
Be prepared for total onslaught when you see Bad Omen in the flesh. Thunder, lightning, smoke, fire and hell! We take no prisoners, we are here to KILL.
Which attributes, do you think, that a new Heavy Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
Heavy Metal should sound FILTHY. Many bands today play for fun and have the wrong attitude when it comes to the music. Digital compression and clean productions everywhere, fuck that! It makes all bands sound the same.
Do you believe that Digital Platforms help the new Heavy Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
We just sticker the fuck out of trash cans with our logo everywhere we come and go! These are places that everyone uses so when they throw out the trash they see our name and will immediately be reminded of who the true kings of evil rock are...
Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Netherlands (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
We have a few good bands here and there but we are hardly aware of what's going on here. We used to have amazing bands like Mysto Dysto, Sad Iron (who still play but are not as good anymore in our opinion), Deathwish, etc. but most of these are long gone... Regarding zines and clubs, we don't read and go to more obscene places than metal bars...
Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
We like bands as Varathron, Rotting Christ and Necromantia. We are mostly familiar with the old black metal scene over there, which is undoubtedly one of the strongest ever!
What are your future plans?
We want to play more shows, so book us if you can! We are working on new songs as we speak for our first EP. No date for that yet, it will come when it's finished.
