Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.
Tell us a few things about DEPRAVED ENTITY (Members, Starting Year etc).

We are Depraved Entity from Hagen in Germany.We are: Dave on Vocals, Phil and Matthias on the guitars,Tobias on bass and Raphael on the drums.We Started mid 2017 and just released our first Album ''Queen of the Night'' in April

You have recently released your album ''Queen Of The Night''. What is the Feedback from your audience as well as from the Press?

The feedback was pretty amazing from the audience.It is selling pretty good and streamed quite a lot.We have a couple of nice reviews so far.The mainstream press is not really aware of us yet.
Label or DIY and why?

It was made DIY because we do not have a label yet.But I think it turned out damn good,considering how our budget was.We had an amazing producer,who really did a great job recording,mixing and mastering

Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?

Vinyl is awesome, but for us not really affordable at this time.CD is great too and what we chose hand in hand with the digital release.

Your music style is Heavy Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)

Definitely Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. But also Helloween and Gamma Ray. Every member of the band brings something in, and of course the bands we listen to,have some kind of influence on us.

Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
I think every band has to sacrifice event within the family or friendcircle. Or Concerts we wanted to visit ourselves,that we had to sacrifice for a gig that came up.

Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?

That is something that always grows as the band grows.Our first time at the Kultopia in Hagen was special.The venue is amazing with a big,nice stage.The audience was fantastic and reacted to everything we did.And the last 2 Gigs we played this summer have been just awesome.Which attributes, do you think, that a new Heavy Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?

I don't think there is one thing a band needs to have.You have to have something that makes you unique and you have to have a connection to the audience.

Do you believe that Bandcamp and other Digital Platforms help the new Heavy Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?

We mostly use Facebook to promote our shows.We do have a Bandcamp Profile, but it is not our main focus so far. Backstage Pro is very helpful as well.Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Germany (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)

The scene here in Germany is not really new, it is more like a very well oiled machine that is running since the 80s :-) There are many metal clubs and bars, specially where we live, so you have quite a lot to chose from.

Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?

Sadly not yet. But we hope to change that some day \m/

What are your future plans?

To grow as much as a band as possible.
