Tell us a few things about GUILLITINO (Members, Starting Year etc).
We (Final Command and Black Magick) started the band in ‘17-’18 because it was so boring in Sweden and we didn’t have anything else to do. We weren’t into school or jobs, we were just bums so we started a band, just to have fun you know. In the beginning a lot of people hated us because of the way we are, not into peace and love and the flower shit, you know. Arvika is known for its acoustic attitude and we wanted to shove it
down their throats, so we made something heavier and dirtier.

You are going to release your EP ''Conjuration''. Tell us a few things about this project.
Right after we released our two song demo in 2018, we met up with S.Schizo and he wanted to produce us. We started to write the songs but didn’t have any money for the instruments so we borrowed them from some friends (thanks to Possessed and Skullcrusher!). S.Schizo had a recording studio (Studio Ljudkyrkogård) so we recorded the bestial devastation there during one weekend and through him we also got in contact with Johannes at Studio Torment, who mixed the EP. We couldn’t find anyone brave enough to master it, so we called upon The Entity to execute it. John Albin Hampus Ekberg drew the terrifying logo and cover art. Eric Björklund did all the layouts and flyers. Eric also took the haunting pictures possessing the back of the cassette.
Label or DIY and why?
DIY is the only way we know, but Jawbreaker has only been good to us and we couldn’t release this without him. We sent him 6 tracks of endless pain and when he showed signs of total death, we knew we had a deal.
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
We prefer home taping, it’s killing music. So is GUILLIOTINO.
Your music style is Black/Thrash Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
We play only relentless, no school metal! Influenced by the ancient Sepultura, Guerrilha, Kreator and Antichrist. Our biggest influence is schizophrenia.
Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
The only ‘’sacrifice’’ we make is the time we don’t spend playing DEATH THRASHING METAL.
Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
The ideal live show is GUILLIOTINO, high speed and nuclear METAL. When we do play live, it’ll be ferocious.
Which attributes, do you think, that a new Black/Thrash Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
Metal doesn’t need uniqueness, it needs relentless dedication and guts. The music is the attribute.
Do you believe that Bandcamp and other Digital Platforms help the new Black/Thrash Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
We didn’t know much about Bandcamp before the EP, but it looks like a good concept for bands to promote themselves and communicate with people. It’s the most official way to reach the band unless you buy the tape. BUY THE TAPE.
Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Sweden (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
There is no underground, only GUILLIOTINO.
Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
Sepultura played in Greece in ‘92, right?
What are your future plans?
We want to play at Giants of Rock and Festival da Morte. We also want to record a full length, again with S.Schizo, when the time is right.
