!!!SWEDISH HEAVY METAL!!!
Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.
Tell us a few things about LEADBREAKER (Members, Starting Year etc).
We started Leadbreaker in 2017 because we we're a bunch of guys that wanted to play regular, ordinary no bullshit Heavy Metal. Now three year years later we are still a bunch of guys that want's to play regular, ordinary no bullshit Heavy Metal.
You have recently released your album''Leadbreaker''. What is the Feedback from your audience as well as from the Press?
The feedback from our small but dedicated audience have been amazing, better than we ever could have imagined. Being a small newly established band and all that. The press doesn't really pay much attention to us. Although Sweden Rock Magazine did review the album and gave it a fair review (6/10).Label or DIY and why?
We were planning on releasing it ourselves but when we were in the process on looking for options to print our album Stormspell Records contacted us and wanted to release the album.
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
They are all good in their own way depending on where and how you want to enjoy music.
Your music style is Heavy Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
We all have our own different influences ranging from giant bands like Motörhead and Metallica to smaller obscure bands like Gotham City and Mindless Sinner.
Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
Your money and your ego. Luckily no one in the band had any of that to begin with, so we got away cheap.
Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
The ideal show is when the audience is enjoying it as much as you do, sweating, headbanging and screaming their lungs out.
Which attributes, do you think, that a new Heavy Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
Follow your own intuition writing your songs. Don't try to be anything you aren't. Don't force ideas or concepts that don't come naturally.Do you believe that Bandcamp and other Digital Platforms help the new Heavy Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
Yeah, for sure. Without digital platforms probably no one would ever have heard of us.It's a more even playground, but a much bigger playground than it was before. The absolute best way to promote your band is to play lots of gigs and show people face to face that you can kick some serious ass and blow peoples mind.
