1. Tell us a few things about NACARBIDE (Members, Starting Year etc).
Female fronted band formed in 2016 Bangkok Thailand with Japanese and Thai players.
2. You have recently released your album ''Iron Lotus''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
Nothing special from press because we didn't announce to press but best response from listener is the best ever.
3. Label or DIY and why?
DIY.We don't have any reason to avoid label but freedom is comfortable,convinient.In the other hand,always fight with cost problem.
4. Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
We can not release Vinyl,tape.It is too higher costs for DIY.
5. Your music style is Heavy Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
FIREWIND, WARDRUM, ACCEPT, HELLOWEEN, JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, LOUDNESS, ANTHEM, RIOT, DIO etc
Singer loves NWOBHM,guitarist likes modern sounds,bassist likes 70's 80's American pops, funk music, Drummer loves Tommy Lee.
6. Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed?Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
Negative.If someone in the band think it SACRIFICE,we can not go on our activity.
7. Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
Huge festival with other band was awesome experience for us in Bangkok and Penang Malaysia.
However we think small venue with good sound is nice too.Of course we joined it.
8. Which attributes, do you think, that a new Heavy Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
I dislike the idea of Should or Must personally.I'm not uncomfortable with being categorized that way as an expression, but I don't want to be forced to say it to anyone.First of all, I don't understand the definition of heavy metal and its subgenres.
9. Do you believe that Bandcamp and other Digital Platforms help the new Heavy Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
Not sure but at least good for us because if there wasn't that kinds of platforms,many of our current listener could not find us.
10. Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Thailand (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
I thought that is concern with economic status but Thailand is so weird because economic status is not so bad but scene is very poor.No fanzine, webzine now I think.There are some metal pub but soooooo quiet.
I don't know why but this is never happen in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia.
11. Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
No.But we love Firewind and WARDRUM.
12. What are your future plans?
Actually we had planned new album release tour in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, China and Japan.
All the event has cancelled or postponed.So we will try it again near future.
If we can get opportunity,We would like to join event in Europe, North and South America too.
