Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.
Tell us a few things about SPINNE (Members, Starting Year etc).
We are a 4 piece band from Mexico City, formed in 2019, Emiliano Saucedo on Rhythm Guitar and vocals, Daniel Zamora on Lead Guitar, Aldo López on Bass Guitar and Ross Valencia on Drums, we are searching an old school thrash metal sound.
You have recently released your album ''Rotten Society''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
The album has 1 week to be released and for now the audience has received us very well, with good comments and good impression.
Label or DIY and why?
For now, DIY because we are starting, but we are open to work with a label.
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
We don't prefer one, we think that the genre lends itself to anyone. The 4 of us like any of this options.
Your music style is Thrash Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
Our main influences are Exodus, Xentrix, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and a lot of old school thrash metal bands.
Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
Well, we are starting so we don't know how to answer, but for sure we sacrifice time, money and also days to be with family.
Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
Our ideal live show, we imagine a metal festival, showing our work to the people who really likes new bands. We don't experience that yet.
Which attributes, do you think, that a new Thrash Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
We think that the sound is a big attribute to gain identity and also some things like vocals or solos, the be a little creative and mix another things out of thrash metal.
Do you believe that Digital Platforms help the new Thrash Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
Digital platforms are awesome, we think that Spotify and Apple Music is now the way to present the work and an easy way to show your work worldwide.
Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Mexico (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
In Mexico there are many little festivals with a lot of locals band, there is a full community, there are many pages on Instagram with a lot of followers that promote new local bands and events.
Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
Not yet.
What are your future plans?
To keep working on new material, and to go out to play and search for opportunities.
