Tell us a few things about TUMBA (Members, Starting Year etc).
Tümba is a project that I decided to start about 2019, for this i counted on Arturo for the voices, and so far we have 3 "works" of brutal and merciless metal punk.
You have recently released the split album ''MMXXII'' together with the Black/Speed metallers INVERTED CROSS. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
People have had good feedback with the new Split, I imagine each band has gained new fans, it was a good experience to work with another band to make a Split, about the press... we don't know if there's a lot of reviews or nothing to read jajajajajaj.
Label or DIY and why?
Ι think 50/50 is the perfect way to make your music grow!
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
Love vinyls and Cds have a lot of them, but honestly as long as I can listen to music, I don't care how.
Your music style is MetalPunk. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
Our influences goes from crust/dbeat/punk to classic or extreme metal, obviously in Tümba we are doing the mix of all that shit, but we have a lot of artists that are inspiring us a lot like: Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade, Anti-Cimex, Martyrdöd, Discharge, GBH, H.H.H. , Venom Hellkrusher, Dishammer...
Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
I wouldn't call it sacrifice, but change, I imagine that to get to the top if that's what you mean, you have to change your way of working for the better always.
Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
Our ideal live show has blood on the stage, and maniacs in the front row, at the moment it is a remote project, with no other members than Arturo and me, so there is no intention of taking it to the stage.
Which attributes, do you think, that a new MetalPunk Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
No fucking rules, be what you want, scream and play faster like its fucking hell.
Do you believe that Digital Platforms help the new MetalPunk Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
Yes they do, nowadays its the best way to sell your music, sell your merch and promote your music, so I am in favor of using these platforms.
Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Spain (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
Love the Spanish underground bands, from Heavy Metal to Crust Punk and Extreme, some recomendations here! Löanshark, Raptore, Atonement, Dentellada, Osserp, Sota de Bastos, Helter Skelter , Alacrán, Witchtower... Here in spain we have HMC's... like Metalcova, HellionsHMFC, Metal Bats, Mediterranean metal maniacs, Pounding...
Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
Nothing, send me some recomendations! jajajajaj.
What are your future plans?
Keep bringin' new music to destroy your fucking brain.
