Welcome to the FILTHY DOGS OF METAL Webzine.

Tell us a few things about VENTOR (Members, Starting Year etc).

Ventor was founded in 2018 in Indonesia, started the same hobby of skateboarding and music, we are Ventor consisting of guitar Anxietor, helvete bass vocal, and hammer, then hammer on the additional drum.

You have recently released your single ''No Fear is Weapon''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?

The response was quite good and very impressive, especially in the underground scene in our city, hails maniac!

Label or DIY and why?

At first we chose DIY because we were free to do anything, but after the demo was released, underground labels started to look at us, and they happened to be friends in Indonesia.

Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?

For now we focus on cassettes, because they don't cost a lot, but we want to try to make them printable in LP format.

Your music style is Heavy/Speed Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)

Yes we are very inspired by European bands, such as Sodom, Destruction, Kreator and speed metal of the 80s era.

Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?

Yes of course there are sacrifices in various things, such as money and time, hopefully this is not in vain.

Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?

In our opinion, the ideal show is that all bands perform with excellent sound, and of course from maniacs who understand the music that is displayed.

Which attributes, do you think, that a new Heavy/Speed Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?

In terms of lyric sound and the most important thing in our opinion is the artwork as a differentiator between metal sub genres.

Do you believe that Digital Platforms help the new Heavy/Speed Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?

For promotions, the digital platform really helps us to be known more widely, but for song sellers through digital, we haven't been able to maximize it.

Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Indonesia (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)

Speed metal and thrash with 80s style in Indonesia began to fluctuate, emerging bands such as Spellforger, Ancient, Headkrusher, Brigade of Crow, they are knights in speed/thrash in Indonesia.

Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?

I've heard of it, but I don't really understand the Hellenic metal scene, hahaha, it seems like a lot of black metal bands carry that theme.

What are your future plans?

If there are no obstacles, we will release an EP with 5 songs, hopefully on vinyl.
