ANIMALESCO, O METODO is a death metal band with crust and metalpunk elements hailing from Portugal. Danihell Slaughter (hail my necro-brother!!) was kind enough to send us the killer box with his releases, including this album from ANIMALESCO, O METODO in both CD and cassette editions (the tape is a limited edition of 150 hand-numbered copies and comes with an A4 poster and a 4-page A5 inlay, while the CD is limited to only 300 copies!).  "Animalesco, O Metodo" is their first full-length studio album, and so far, they have released a few demos and a split album. The album contains 9 tracks (though the first and last are intro and outro) of killer, raging crust death metal, with a total runtime of no more than 30 minutes! The songs are filled with fury, aggression, and fast metalpunk, featuring bulldozing guitar riffs, catastrophic speed drumming, brutal distorted bass, and screaming growling vocals in Portuguese, which give the songs a great atmosphere!  The album moves quickly with impressive tracks like "Colheita Da Intempérie," "Sepulcro O Meu Templo," "Terreno Fértil Da Negação," and "Recontro No Desencontro" (my favorite song of the album – killer!!). These are very fast, thrashy hardcore compositions that will satisfy the ferocious taste of every hardcore headbanger out there. Crust death metal to the max!! Ideal for fans of  SEPULTURA, RATOS DE PORÃO, ENTOMBED, AXEGRINDER, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, etc.
