FUNERAL is a Black Metal band hailing from Chile. ''Catacumbas'' is their 2nd full-length studio album released on a limited edition hand-numbered cassette of 100 copies (it also contains poster A4 + inlay with 4 pages A5) via MURDER Records (Hail Danihell Slaughter!!). The sound is so fucking primitive, which I loved! No fake triggers on the drums, guitars, and bass are like played by demons and evil vocals with no pussy melodies or wannabe evil and mean. Just pure hate and screams…FUNERAL creates a raw and sinister sound like the old days, with no technical skills or modern shitty black metal trends, just pure anti-human black metal played by fans for the fans. The atmosphere is thick, suffocating, and dangerous, as though the listener is forced to confront the supernatural forces unleashed through the music. Just listen to ''Tierra de Nod''; it's such a badass song. ''(Al-Waswas) Cadaveres'' has a killer horrific sound with a beautiful and gory intro. ''Caos Miedo Y Autodestruccion'' is a really rotten and brutal song! Generally, ''Catacumbas'' is an extremely self-destructive album full of misanthropic atmosphere.
