Well, what we have here!! The blasphemic Black/thrash metal band GOMORRAA from Brazil with their first full-length studio album, ''Sordidus Fabellas (Luxuries Et Profanus),'' was released independently on the 27th of October 2019. Here we have the CD edition (limited to 500 copies in Digipak), which was released via MURDER Records (Hail Danihell Slaughter). We also had the opportunity to have a conversation with them 4 years ago, which you can read HERE. South America has always produced awesome bands in all the genres of metal, but especially in the extreme metal sound, it is really something else. From the opening track, ''Sinal Iminente das Trevas,'' a beautiful instrumental song, GOMORRAA wastes no time in letting listeners know that they’re gonna face...what else? metal in your face!!The songs of the album are fast, relentless, and full of destructive energy. The riffs are sharp, the drums are pounding, and the vocals are a guttural scream of fury, evoking the raw power of the underground scene. ''Sordidus Fabellas (Luxuries Et Profanus)'' is a sinister album blending black/thrash and evil metal sounds; GOMORRAA executes it with precision and passion. Tracks like "Avante Forças Infernais," ''Lady Lust, ''XXX, and "Arco Do Bode" showcase the band’s ability to craft both high-speed thrash anthems and brooding, ominous passages that create a perfect balance of chaos and darkness.Despite being influenced by some of the biggest names in the scene, GOMORRAA manages to carve out their own identity. Their sound is true and old-school, but it feels fresh and captures the raw energy of the early days of thrash and black metal while still feeling relevant in today’s metal landscape.
