Tell us a few things about TRIMEGISTO (Members, Starting Year etc).
Trimegisto begins in 2016, first as a one man band, integrates by Andres Marcayata (Guitar, Vocals), Andres Utreras (Bass), Simon Karner ( Drums, Vocals)
You have recently released your split album with BONEHAMMER ''Necromantic Ritual''. What is the feedback from your audience as well as from the press?
The feedback of "Nekromantik Ritual" was hold in a fusion of the brutal noise of black metal punk, paying tribute to the classic sound, the people and distros welcomed well the work.
Label or DIY and why?
Pluteras Records is the label of Andres Utreras (Bass), management this label as a DIY work because that benefict are without intermediaries , is in charge of the audiovisual production.
Do you prefer Vinyl, Tape, CD or Digital Format and why is that?
The cassettes are the prefered way to share the work, and we support too the work in the web as a data collector, we aspired to make a Vinyl´s too.
Your music style is Black/Punk Metal. Which are your main influences (Favourite Artists / Bands etc.)
The influences are sounds of Black Metal like Bathory, spirit of evil rock n roll like Motorhead, and a brutal noise of Anti Cimex, fusion all of that in one overhelming sound.
Which things, do you think, a Band should sacrifice in order to succeed? Have you ever sacrificed anything in your life for a better future of your Band?
The time spend is sometimes the most important fact with a band, maybe in other perspective this is the reason for the angrys families with the musician men or women, because spend sometimes much more time with the band than your own family, but, this of time spending we never regret. This is the tought of sacrifice to succeed.
Describe your ideal live show as a performance Band. Have you already experienced that?
The ideal of a live show is share escenary with bands all over the world, here in South America made concerts with the distros is greatful, but more greatful should be a triptour in a few countries all over the world.
Which attributes, do you think, that a new Black/Punk Metal Band should have in order to gain identity and be unique?
The most important attribute is composing your own songs, above that only have the courage to follow the goal and nothing more.
Do you believe that Bandcamp and other Digital Platforms help the new Black/Punk Metal Bands? Which, do you think, is the ideal way for a Band to promote its work?
We think that all digital platforms serving very good, its just the unknowing of the bands, of course that not compares with a Vinyl or Cassette.
Tell us a few things about the New Underground Metal Scene in Ecuador (Bands, Fanzines, Webzines, Metal Clubs etc.)
In Ecuador are a few very good metal underground bands, the fail is sometimes there are too many divitions, the Pluteras Records work keep alive the underground in different way, metal, punk and others style, reaching bands like Abigail, Mystifier and others that passed in tour. Check it out.
Do you know anything about the Hellenic Metal Scene?
Its interesting the influences that has thru the years and the music, we like it, but we are not inveterate fans of that.
What are your future plans?
Recording new songs, split, albums and make more cassettes and our aspiration, do some Vinyls.
